Dan Moss is bitter at the Uganda national Broadcaster UBC tv over showing his film Imperial Blue without his permission yet it was set to premiere soon and expected to make some box office money through ticket sales for it's premiere

Is The Ugandan Movie Industry A good Business To Invest In

people look for how to make money and the movie business is one untapped sector that one can invest and make money, movie making like Imperial Blue is a big business just like in the Hollywood and even Nigerian Nollywood and this has inspired Ugandan film makers too to do the same and make some money for themselves and even provide jobs to fellow ugandans who work as.

What Kind Of Jobs Does The Movie Industry Offer?

  • Directors
  • Sound people
  • Camera and lighting crew
  • script writers
  • make up artists
  • Transport and location provider
All these jobs are provided when a ugandan film maker like Dan Moss of Imperial Blue decides to make a movie, and he has to pay them a wage or a salary hoping to get back his money with profit when his movie is sold and shown in cinema halls.

That's how a lay Ugandan oft to get back their money but this is impossible and they cost losses when their movie is pirated and not by an ordinary ugandan but a national broadcaster Uganda Broadcasting Council who we think  is operated by qualified people who know about copyright and it's implication and they know very well that this is an enfringment on intellectual property.
They didn't put this in consideration yet DAN MOSS had already set the date for the movie premiere and tickets were already on sale. so this incident reduced the amount of ticket sales since most people watched the movie on one of UBC sister station U24 without his permission and therefore causing him loss.
DAN Ross through his lawyers Onyango and company advocates have served UBC of an intention to sue for copyrights enfringment on their workers of Imperial Blue without permission.
