DOES KASOZI IBRAHIM DESERVE THE MAKINDYE EAST SEAT

Voters Of Makindye East Constituency Will Make A Choice

Many members of parliament after being elected don't return to their consistency but wait until it's election period that's when they are seen.
African politics should differ from that of developed democracies where the parliamentarian just seats in parliament for oversight and policy and ignore what affects the local people.

What Are Some Of The Few Responsibilities Of A Member of Parliament In Uganda

some of the responsibilities include;

  • Over sight
  • Passing laws

But in Africa is that viable if a member of parliament can't lobby for his constituency? why can't a member of parliament be patriotic and atleast bring back 2 million shillings monthly into his Constituency?
When you go underground asking the voter's in the Makindye east about the performance of their member of parliament Ibrahim Kasozi, many don't have nice words for him saying He has forsaken them in times when they really needed him the most.

Remember it's Covid19 period and many homesteads are struggling with necessities of life like food stuffs and clothing's since many missed out on the government relief food and had hopes that maybe their area mp could help out but he didn't.
Leadership is about being close with the citizens and the people you represent, but many Ugandan politicians when voted into office, they distance away from their voters and they only need them in periods of elections which is now.

There is a rumor that it's money which will exchange hands and billions of money are put a side to buy an election, which isn't a bad idea but how sure are you that it will be like it was in the last year,

Many people decry voting you Hon. Kasozi ibrahim but they never got any money from you, traders in the local market say you have never cashed their sacco . So the question is should they really send you back to parliament again
