Ugandan Musicians Face Revenue Challenges Due to Live Concert Streams

Jaja Ragga Dee Addresses Revenue Losses from Live Concert Streams in Uganda Jaja Ragga Dee commonly known as Daniel kazibwe, a prominent figure in the Ugandan music industry and the patron of the Uganda Musicians Federation (UMF), has raised concerns over the financial losses Ugandan artists face due to live concert broadcasts by various media houses. Toxic Work Environment | I QUIT NTV Because of Mistreatment Justin Nameere

I was Harrased at Nation media

Because of Sheilah Gasumba's recent trolling of NTV Uganda, a former employee of the network, Justine Nameere, has come forward to share her perspective on her time working for NTV Uganda. She claims that money was never a factor in her decision to leave the network but she could not continue working in a toxic work environment

On her Facebook page, Justin Nameere formally announced her resignation from the station and cited her head of department's mistreatment as the cause. She said she doesn't blame the business or the owner, Agha Khan, and that she was named employee of the year and received a pay raise and bonuses while working for the Kenyan head of department.

She considered quitting as the best option to focus on her own company of providing content to media houses like UBC, Bukeede TV, and her most recent partner NBS after a fellow Ugandan took over the department and her mesery was freed.

Presenters in Uganda generally struggle with poor remuneration, but Justin Nameere urged them to use creativity rather than focusing just on presenting as a means of support.
