Sheila Gashumba is the topic of discussion around town. She revealed how the channel was paying her 50,000 but she later realized how little it was on her Twitter profile while mocking her former employer, Ntv Uganda.

Sheila Gashumba said that she knew she was being underpaid since the money was too little for her to keep her makeup done at 80k, and 400k a month was too little to stay in the workforce.

If we were to pose the issue, however, would the majority of individuals work for love or for financial gain? And if Sheila went back to journalism school with that degree, why didn't she use it to negotiate her worth if it was for money?

But media consultant professor Jowel isabirye was of the view that it isn't necessary to have a university degree to be a talented presenter but it's the time you commit doing what you do so you get a viewership and fun following that can be a leverage for more advertisers on one's show.

But living all that behind, Sheila realized she got to get into something else early to have something for herself before time catches up with her not like McKenzie of 97.0 Radiocity who realised it late , and He regrets if He had utilized his time as a young guy to invest his money than spending time in bars and with friends life could be better.

So let's wait where this will end and if media companies will hear out Sheila's cry out loud and increase media persons pay since there has been a lot of exdous out of the media professional to do something else that is paying well than being seen on television yet they ain't well off.
