VOTE FOR JOSE CHAMELEON AS LORD MAYOR SO KAMPALA CITY CAN STOP FLOODING

Do you know the Responsibilities of your Political Leader?

Some times when I have nothing much to do, I take time to check out some of the influencers or Radio celebrity comments and yesterday I was shocked to see someone respected on air make such a statement as;

"vote for Jose mayanja so Kampala city can stop flooding,"
then what came into my mind was does this Radio presenter know the responsibility of a city or division Mayor?
How the Mayor gets things happen in a City or a division.

I made a reflection that if a Radio presenter who many Ugandans have their faith in and admire or follow does not know tne responsibility of a city Mayor, how about a common Ugandan or a peasant or interested do much interested in knowing their rights and roles and responsibilities if their political leaders.

Do we vote for people because of persuasion from people we admire and believe in without giving it thought if these people are the right candidates to fill the political offices and are going to do everything for the citizens and development of the city and it's suburbs and we forget their responsibilities? Many Ugandans have been taken for granted by being lied too but that they could do for them things which they can't do obviously. A city Mayor just oversees meetings and budgets and he is not part of the Infrastructures Committee of the City or make decision on what has to be done for the city.

The responsibility of planning for the city is left to parliament and the other office so Ugandans please don't vote because someone is persuading for a sympathy vote yet they don't have the technical know how.
