 Uganda Rising Star Joins Spotify's Radar Class of 2024  In a remarkable development for the Ugandan music industry, Joshua Baraka has been named the prestigious Spotify Radar Class of 2024.  This honor owes him talent newcomers like Nigerian Shallipopi ho and South African Manana , which marked a milestone in his career.  The inclusion of Joshua Baraka in the Spotify Radar program is particularly noteworthy as he becomes the first Ugandan artiste to join the prestigious group.  The Radar initiative is a deliberate effort by Spotify to highlight young, exceptional talent, providing a platform to reach a global audience. Mira Nair praises Apass music

A pass Music Does Good Music

Maisha film labs a film production house in Uganda and East Africa director Mira Nair has praised Ugandan music Bagonza Aka Apass for his good music and sound which prompted the film guru to choose A pass' music as sound track for some of their films and she said Maisha labs will continue using Apass' music in their feature films and projects.



Apass' music was used in the Queen Of Katwe film soon to premiere in Uganda. It has actress Lupita Nyango as the mother to mutesi a gal who had passion for playing chess in the ghetto


Mira Nair is an Hollywood film director who chose to establish a production company in East Africa teaching both film related courses like acting, script writing, film shooting and editing. Having her a round has helped the growth of the ugandan film industry.
