Ugandan Musicians Face Revenue Challenges Due to Live Concert Streams

  Jaja Ragga Dee Addresses Revenue Losses from Live Concert Streams in Uganda Jaja Ragga Dee commonly known as Daniel kazibwe, a prominent figure in the Ugandan music industry and the patron of the Uganda Musicians Federation (UMF), has raised concerns over the financial losses Ugandan artists face due to live concert broadcasts by various media houses. In recent statements, he highlighted how these live streams on different social media platforms deter many potential concertgoers from attending events, opting instead to watch the performances for free from the comfort of their homes. Jaja Ragga Dee pointed out that a concert which could potentially attract around 8,000 attendees often ends up drawing only about 3,000 people. Third Edition Of Hijab and Kanzu Festival

The 3rd edition ofHIJAB and KANZU is back and this time it will be on the 2nd of feb 2018 at Hotel Africana uganda.

The HIJAB and KANZU Islamic fashion theme is organised by UK based Ugandan Rehema Nyenje who came up with an idea to celebrate Islamic Fashion Style among the Ugandan community as we have had many fashion style shows but Muslims had always been left out and this is what prompted Rehema to come up with an idea of show casing the different Islamic fashion styles that are embraced worldwide by the Muslim community .

The theme is totally Hijab and Kanzu or Islamic fashion style and it brings together both designers and the consumers of the designs which helps consumers come in contact with the business community and get access to variety of designs from different designers.

Dress Code For The Event

The event Dress code is totally Hijab for the ladies and Kanzu for the men.
To get access to the event only the themed dress code will be accepted and not any other kind of dress code will be accepted.
All exhibitors around the world who are in business are called upon to showcase and also make money from people who would be interested in buying themselves new Hijabs and Kanzus as Eid will be soon in June so one has to prepare.
