Beat FM and Ammoti Ommubalanguzi Part Ways Over Work Challenges

Ugandan comedy king Amooti Omubalanguzi exited Beat FM radio due to work discipline issues, including frequent absences without notice and sleeping during broadcasts, which impacted his professionalism and reliability. In addition to his radio duties, Amooti was also involved in late-night shows with his comedy group, New Amaruula, which reportedly left him with insufficient rest and focus for radio presenting.Ammoti had joined Beat FM from Radio Simba a few years ago.  Following his departure from Beat FM, it remains unclear whether he will join another radio station or retire from radio to concentrate solely on his comedy career with New Ammaluula.

Bebecool to make music label

Ugandan musician Bebecool the gagamel boss is thinking of setting up a music label. As many musicians are investing in building masions and expensive houses, Bebecool says he is investing in his music and it will reap fruits in his old age.

But let's sit down an analyze what a music label involves and how many we have in the country.  I think the music label that was trying to resurface was that of the Goodlyfe as Jeff kiwa knew how to run his artists and he had the money to invest.

A music label requires alot of funds to be set a side to pay for the producers, song writers, the media and promoters as it's a Brand and so are these artists as all they do is going to the studio and make performances.

So hope mr. Bebecool knows the task he is taking on. And one challenge will be him not being a musician as Bebecool is just a singer. Let's look at the likes of Don jazzy,  he is a good producers and understands the music direction and I wonder how Bebecool will do both of being a singer and a CEO of a music label
