Lyrical Beef between Byaxy and Don spiller

Cindy And Byaxy Infringed on My Song

The two dancehall up coming artists ain't at good terms as UK based Don spill allegies that both Cindy sanyu and Byaxy infringed on his song "over me".
Don spill says he first released the song last year but when he heard the likes of Cindy and Byaxy callabo also singing the same lyrics.
But what we don't understand is if lyrics are also copyrighted and if Don spill had registered the song so he is right to claim the intellectual property claims or rights.
Is it one way of looking for attention since he is UK based and doesn't have too much popularity in the Uganda musician circles and if He can use the beefing of the duo Cindy and Byaxy then he can attract some attention which can become the talk of town on music and television entertainment shows both in print and media and it could be a blessing in the disguise..
Well let's wait and see where it all ends end
