Star Times Uganda Launches Face TV, a Dedicated Channel for Ugandan Music Lovers

Star Times Uganda, a Chinese pay TV company, has recently launched Face TV, a channel that exclusively plays Ugandan music. The move is in compliance with the Uganda Communication Commission's directive of having 70% local content and to compete with Gotv, its affiliate sub pay TV service of multi choice Uganda.

The launch event was graced by popular artists like Khalifa Aganaga, Bobi wine, and Cindy Sanyu, signifying their support for the development and how it could help the music industry in disseminating content.

Despite some organizational issues during the event, the launch of Face TV is expected to cater to the preferences of Ugandan music enthusiasts.
